(Heidi Winkler, MD Pediatrics) is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Pediatrician (MD) to join our established outpatient pediatric practice in Santa Fe Springs, California . This is an opportunity to provide longitudinal care to infants, children, and adolescents in a supportive community practice.
ASAP Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic pediatric care for patients from birth through adolescence. Perform well-child visits, developmental surveillance and screening, immunizations, sports physicals, and school-related assessments. Diagnose and manage common pediatric illnesses and coordinate referrals when subspecialty care is indicated. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record. Collaborate with medical assistants, front-office staff, families, schools, and community resources to support high-quality, family-centered care. Participate in practice quality-improvement activities and maintain compliance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and payer requirements. Qualifications MD degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency program. Active, unrestricted California medical license, or ability to obtain licensure before the start date. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics. DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration. Strong communication skills and commitment to culturally responsive, family-centered pediatric care. Spanish-language proficiency is welcomed but not required.
