Job Type Full-time Description Townsend, DE Description We are looking for a new team member to join a busy community practice that specializes in comprehensive, general pediatric care. We are seeking a Physician Associate that aligns with our values of evidence-based medicine, compassionate quality care, and workplace collaboration. Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Associate program
Valid state licensure and certification as a Physician Associate
Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and ethical practices

Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and assessments
Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries under the supervision of a physician
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment
Develop and implement patient management plans
Prescribe medications and other treatments within scope of practice
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
Document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
