The physician will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting preventive medicine and wellness initiatives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric patients Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Conduct physical examinations, preventive screenings, and annual wellness visits Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic evaluations Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with accepted medical standards and regulations Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, ancillary providers, and community resources Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record system Ensure proper ICD-10 and CPT coding for billing and compliance purposes Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health programs Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and administrative teams Maintain strong patient satisfaction and engagement standards Participate in call coverage as required Maintain hospital privileges as applicable Attend required provider meetings, compliance training, and continuing medical education activities Adhere to all federal, state, payer, and organizational regulatory requirements Perform additional duties consistent with the practice of Family Medicine QualificationsEducation Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program Experience Previous outpatient primary care experience preferred New graduates completing residency are encouraged to apply Experience in value-based care, Medicare Advantage, and population health management is a plus Licensure & Certification Active Florida Medical License or ability to obtain licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Active DEA Registration Current BLS Certification Unrestricted prescribing privileges Required Skills & Competencies -Clinical Skills Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities Knowledge of evidence-based primary care practices Ability to manage complex and chronic medical conditions Commitment to quality improvement and patient safety Communication Skills Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Professional verbal and written communication skills Technology Skills Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Strong documentation and coding practices
