Position Highlights Glaucoma Specialist opportunity within a highly regarded multispecialty ophthalmology practice Primary locations include Marietta, Cartersville, and West Cobb, with access to a large established referral network 100% outpatient practice with approximately 35 patients per day Expected volume of 10-20 surgical cases per week plus 8-15 laser procedures weekly Initial surgery and laser schedule every other week, with opportunity to expand as volume grows Practice call only, approximately six one-week assignments per year, with additional compensation provided No hospital call requirements Dedicated physician support including a lead ophthalmic technician, scribe, and additional technical staff Access to two surgery centers with a combined seven operating rooms Opportunity to join a physician-engaged culture with strong leadership involvement and practice growth potential What We Offer Competitive compensation with earning potential in the high percentiles Additional compensation for call coverage Relocation assistance available Established referral sources and immediate patient demand Collaborative physician-led culture with opportunities for influence and engagement Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology Completion of an accredited Glaucoma Fellowship required Excellent surgical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care Practice-building mindset with strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills 2027 fellows and experienced glaucoma specialists encouraged to apply Why Marietta & Northwest Atlanta Marietta offers the perfect blend of suburban convenience and metropolitan access, with excellent schools, established neighborhoods, abundant parks, and easy access to all that Atlanta has to offer.
