Job Description

Seeking a part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide clinical oversight and direct patient care at skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Mascoutah, IL, and surrounding communities. The physician will collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients and provide leadership within assigned facilities.

Position overview Part-time coverage, typically 1-2 days per week per facility No fixed daily start/end times; flexible scheduling No overnight shifts and no call responsibilities Expected patient volume: 18-25 visits per day Work with affiliated NPs/PAs for coordinated care and clinical oversight Compensation & benefits Competitive compensation with industry-leading earning potential Up to $50,000 long-term retention incentive Performance-based bonuses Paid time off; 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, vision insurance for eligible physicians Employer-paid life insurance; short- and long-term disability for eligible physicians CME allowance and licensure reimbursement Company-provided tablet with LTE and professional lab coat Requirements MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure encouraged to apply
