Job Description

Working as an Interventional Radiology Tech on this travel assignment will expose you to a broad spectrum of procedures and best practices. Schedule/Hours:
Late shift duties as required to support departmental needs
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology Tech experience ARRT certification required IEMA Radiology license required Current
ACLS/BLS
(AHA) certifications required Experience with Interventional Neurology strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and withhold contrast media and treatment as appropriate Assess patients for allergies to contrast agents or medications Assist with peripheral vascular procedures, venous central line placements, and tube changes Support embolization and venous thrombectomy procedures (both venous and arterial) Perform dialysis access procedures (AV fistulas, tunneled & peritoneal dialysis catheters) Conduct tube access and changes (gastrostomy, cholecystostomy, nephrostomy, biliary, abscess, suprapubic catheters) Participate in neuro-interventional work (cerebral arterial/venous, kyphoplasty) where possible
