About the Opportunity Octo Search Partners is partnering with Iroquois Memorial Hospital to identify a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a new outpatient urology program launching this winter in Watseka, Illinois. Iroquois Memorial is an independent critical access hospital that has served its community for 110 years. It isn't part of a large system, so there are no corporate layers, and the leadership team is hands-on and engaged. The urology program is supported by VirtueCare, a telehealth urology partner that pairs the provider with a board certified urologist who is available before, during, and after clinic. What You Will Do Serve as the provider and the face of the new urology clinic, with real-time guidance from your remote urologist and surgeons who travel on site for procedures At launch, spend about two days a week in the urology clinic, with the rest of your schedule in Prompt Care or clinic settings Perform core in-office procedures, including catheter care, bladder scans, simple stent and lead removals, and bladder instillations Grow into advanced procedures with training over time, including cystoscopy, Botox injections, Xiaflex, and urodynamics Fill the rest of a full-time schedule in Prompt Care (the hospital's ER-based urgent care), the specialty clinic, or general practice, based on your interests and the hospital's needs Use protected time to build the practice, including urology training and outreach to referring providers Grow into a full-time urology role as the clinic expands Who We Are Looking For NP or PA-C, licensed in Illinois or eligible for licensure Master's degree or higher Current board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) New graduates and experienced providers are both welcome. Urgent care, emergency, family medicine, and internal medicine backgrounds are a strong fit. Curious, coachable, and comfortable working independently with strong physician backup Someone who wants rural practice, enjoys getting to know patients and their families, and likes seeing a wide variety of cases What Iroquois Memorial Offers Salary up to $160,000 Medical, dental, and vision coverage 403(b) and 401(a) retirement plans with employer match Malpractice and tail coverage Licenses, certifications, and professional dues paid Earned Time program covering vacation, sick, and personal time Full urology training through videos, lectures, and onsite instruction, at no cost to you A growth path into senior APP, team lead, and clinical leadership roles as the service line expands The chance to build a new specialty practice from the ground up A close-knit team, many with 30 to 40 years at the hospital A town of about 5,300, an easy drive to Champaign and Kankakee, and about 90 minutes from downtown Chicago.
