Observation Unit:

15 beds with approximately 3 daily encounters Average Observation length of stay: 23 hours Observation coverage seven days per week Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hospital Medicine Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required What your practice will look like You'll work across both Hospital Medicine and Observation, providing continuity of care in two closely connected inpatient settings. This role offers variety in day-to-day practice while allowing you to collaborate with Physicians, APPs, nursing teams, and hospital leadership across both services. About the Facility Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center is a 200-bed acute care hospital serving Lanham and the surrounding Prince George's County community. The hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services, including diagnostic imaging, orthopedic care, vascular health, thoracic surgery, rehabilitation, oncology, and surgical services. The campus also utilizes the Luminis Health SAIL Simulation Center for provider and nursing education. Why
