We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled per diem OB/GYN only to join our team. Our dedicated women's health team supports women through every stage of life. We take a patient-centered approach by getting to know their unique health needs, understanding their medical history, tracking medications, and working collaboratively to develop personalized care plans that promote long-term wellness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, including labor and delivery services, triage, and emergency consultations. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations within the scope of OB/GYN hospitalist practice. Manage patient care during assigned on‑call shifts, including night, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled. Participate in a minimum of three to four on‑call shifts per month, including weekend rotation, based on patient care and staffing needs. Provide a minimum of 12 hours of on‑call coverage, with additional on‑call time as available and scheduled in advance. Coordinate patient referrals, admissions, and follow‑up care as clinically indicated during hospital encounters. Complete all required clinical documentation, charting, and encounter notes accurately and timely using Sun River Health's electronic medical record system. Lock and finalize all charts within 72 hours, in accordance with organizational policy. Participate in peer review activities, quality improvement initiatives, and chart audits as required. Attend required Medical Staff meetings and departmental meetings, as scheduled. Adhere to all Sun River Health policies, Medical Staff bylaws, hospital regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local laws. Maintain compliance with HRSA, Joint Commission, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and all accrediting and regulatory standards.
