Provide inpatient and/or outpatient consults, manage chemotherapy and targeted therapies, and oversee acute oncologic and hematologic conditions. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment planning, rounding, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology consultations Evaluate patients, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans Prescribe and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies Round on hospitalized patients and manage acute oncologic conditions Coordinate care with nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams Interpret relevant labs, imaging, and pathology results Document encounters and treatment plans in the medical record Participate in tumor boards or case conferences as needed Ensure adherence to evidence-based guidelines and safety protocols Provide compassionate communication with patients and families Required Skills Hematologic malignancy management Solid tumor oncology management Chemotherapy and immunotherapy prescribing Management of oncologic emergencies Interpreting hematology labs and pathology Interpreting oncology imaging and staging Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Multidisciplinary care coordination Palliative and symptom management Patient and family communication
