Handles patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices, and monitor patient during imaging. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency drugs and equipment. Uses proper body mechanics when assisting patient. Administers contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines

JOB SUMMARY

The CT Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
