Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of podiatric conditions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations focused on foot and ankle health Diagnose conditions such as bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot ulcers, and other podiatric issues Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating medical, surgical, and rehabilitative interventions Perform minor surgical procedures, including toenail removals and wound debridement, using aseptic techniques Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as medical imaging (X-ray, ultrasound) to inform clinical decisions Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and proper footwear choices Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms Requirements Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution Valid state licensure or certification to practice podiatry in the designated area Proven experience in outpatient podiatric care with familiarity in both medical and surgical treatments Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common foot and ankle conditions Proficiency with EHR systems and medical imaging technologies for diagnostic purposes Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams Ability to perform procedures such as suturing, wound care management, and minor surgeries with precision Commitment to patient service excellence and adherence to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Join our team to deliver innovative foot care solutions that transform lives! $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
