School-Based Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) / Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - Full-Time Amergis Educational Staffing Homeland, CA Contract |
Onsite Schedule:
Full-time, 35 hours per week 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday 2026-2027 school year Starts August 2026
Pay:
Starting at $50/hour (May vary depending on experience) Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time, bilingual School-Based LMFT or LPCC (Spanish/English) to support a school district in Homeland, CA for the full 2026-2027 school year. This onsite role offers consistent weekly hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student mental health and well-being. This clinician will provide counseling and mental health services to students, helping support emotional, behavioral, and social needs while collaborating closely with school teams. What you'll do: Provide individual and group counseling services to school-aged students Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and ongoing progress monitoring Develop and support IEP/504 goals related to social-emotional and behavioral needs Deliver evidence-based interventions to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns Support crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans Provide consultation and strategies to staff to support student success in the classroom Maintain accurate, timely documentation and service logs Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment What you need: Active California LMFT or LPCC license Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required) School-based experience (required) Pupil Personnel Services ( PPS ) Credential preferred but not required Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a full-time caseload in a school environment Availability for the full 2026-2027 school year Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
