Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist credential (CA PPS or equivalent) Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Solid foundation in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organization abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans Provide individual and group counseling services as needed Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop strategies that promote student success Participate in student support team meetings and deliver training or workshops for staff when necessary Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Working as a school psychologist in this dynamic district allows you to impact students' lives through direct support and data-driven decision-making.
