Key Qualifications:

Active School Psychologist license issued by the state of California Expertise in child development, learning assessment, and behavioral intervention Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families Previous experience working with elementary school students is preferred Commitment to promoting positive mental health and academic achievement

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to identify learning and behavioral needs Provide direct counseling and intervention services to individual students and small groups Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective support plans Assist in the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment Maintain timely and accurate records according to established standards and guidelines
