Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Proven ability to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families Experience developing and implementing effective intervention strategies Comfortable working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, actionable reports Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Facilitate or participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student needs and appropriate supports Deliver direct counseling and support services to students as needed Assist with crisis intervention and response when required Support data-driven decision-making to address student barriers to success This contract position near Santa Ana offers the chance to expand your professional experience, contribute to a supportive school environment, and positively impact students' lives.
