Valley Springs Health & Wellness Center Position Summary:
By utilizing a collaborative, team-based model, provides assessment, intervention and treatment to individuals, families or groups for psychological, behavioral, cognitive or emotional challenges. Provides clinical supervision for
AMFT/ACSW
candidates. Provides services within the scope of practice of an LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LMFT for the Valley Springs Health & Wellness Center.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide a combination of program oversight and staff clinical individual and group supervision and direct service provision.
  • Ensure that staff associate clinicians provide treatment in compliance with established protocol and policy. Meet regularly with the clinical team to staff caseloads and keep abreast of current issues. Keep clinical staff informed of program information.
  • Work with leadership to establish training and development plan for clinical staff.
  • Monitor and facilitate implementation of evidence-based practices by clinic staff.
  • Provide evidence-based treatment.
  • Perform and document patient screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress and referral information. Conduct clinical intake assessments as needed.
  • Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
  • Provide services via telehealth platform, as required.
  • Consult and coordinate with the health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient treatment plans
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans, to include recommendations for auxiliary support groups, lifestyle changes and healthcare management
  • Participate in a team-based system of therapeutic care that provides support and strength to patients
  • Maintain high-quality patient care by providing a safe environment through ethical and trauma-informed professional conduct and standards
  • Research local resources and eligibility requirements to determine goodness of fit for individual patients & assist clients with linkages to resources to help support their progress (transportation, housing, financial assistance, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other service agencies and professionals in the mental health industry, such as psychiatrists, counselors, and school support staff to create the best treatment options for patients
  • Monitor symptoms and functioning, response to treatment plan, and need for revisions to treatment plan based on readiness to change, social and contextual factors, and level of engagement
  • Maintain clear, concise and accurate documentation within EMR/EHR
  • Comply with VSHWC privacy, security and confidentiality policies
  • Conduct peer review audits
  • Participating in community service and company-sponsored events
  • Attend all training sessions for the use of equipment, EMR/EHR, procedural functions, insurance training, staff meetings, OSHA, and any requested committee meeting

Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field, received from an accredited institution Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and meets the BBS requirements Personable, flexible, and compassionate personality Successful interview with the Integrated Behavioral Health team Ability to pass a criminal background check

Monday through Friday 0730-1730, 10-hour shifts available
