Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing essential psychological support within the school setting. This part-time, contract opportunity involves working as a School Psychologist for two elementary schools. You'll spend one day per week (8 hours) at each location, actively contributing to student well-being in both Parker and Franktown. This role is ideal for professionals who are looking to foster positive change while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist, meeting state and professional requirements Experience conducting special education assessments, ideally in an elementary school environment Strong understanding of best practices in educational psychology, intervention strategies, and IEP development Excellent collaboration skills, able to work closely with educators, special education teams, and families Ability to manage time and case load efficiently across two different school sites
Core Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to the special education process Interpret assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Support the development and monitoring of IEPs, providing actionable recommendations for classroom accommodations Offer consultative services to teachers and staff for student intervention planning Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state policies Serve as a resource to parents, fostering positive communication and support
