Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Florida Familiarity with psychoeducational assessment tools and data-driven decision making Experience developing and implementing intervention strategies for diverse student populations Strong ability to consult, collaborate, and communicate with educators, students, and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites during the workweek
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention, to students across four schools Conduct formal evaluations to identify educational and behavioral needs Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop strategies for student success Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP teams, and multidisciplinary planning sessions Provide consultative support and training to staff and families regarding learning and mental health concerns Maintain accurate records, case notes, and timely documentation in accordance with legal and professional standards Engage in proactive efforts to foster inclusive and supportive school climates This full-time position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek and the opportunity to make a difference at several school locations.
