Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Psychologist specializing in Psychological and Psychoeducational Assessments to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental assessments, to support accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment planning. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—understand their mental health needs and access tailored interventions. You will work in a collaborative environment that values evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and innovative approaches to mental health care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through thorough assessments, compassionate patient care, and interdisciplinary teamwork. Duties Conduct detailed individual psychological assessments utilizing standardized testing tools, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations to evaluate cognitive functioning, emotional health, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders. Administer and interpret psychological tests related to intelligence, achievement, personality, trauma-related disorders, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and other mental health diagnostics. Develop comprehensive reports outlining assessment findings, diagnoses, and evidence-based recommendations for treatment or educational planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of mental health counselors and psychiatric nurse practitioners Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations and clinical ethical guidelines while ensuring confidentiality at all times. Requirements Valid Florida licensure as a Psychologist (PHD or PsyD) Proven experience conducting individual psychological assessments across various age groups—children through geriatrics—and familiarity with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assess and diagnose autism, ADHD, cognitive/IQ and gifted, learning disabilities, and other mental health disorders Exposure to both clinical and school psychology settings 3+ years experience working within hospital settings or outpatient clinics with exposure to inpatient or outpatient mental health services is highly desirable. Knowledge of mental health diagnostics tools and proficiency in administering psychological testing instruments. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, report writing, interdisciplinary collaboration, and client communication across diverse populations—including children with neurodevelopmental disorders or trauma-related conditions. Commitment to ongoing research and professional development in clinical psychology practices aligned with current standards of care. About the Practice We are a dynamic team of mental health professionals who collaborate to provide excellent service to those in the community. We are committed to providing a space for clients to come and have access to the care they need. We are contracted with several major insurances. At our practice, we have a client care coordinator who assists with admin support and scheduling. As a part of this fee-split contract agreement, this position includes having access to private space, all testing materials needed, and assistance with communication and scheduling clients.
