As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your expertise will guide families, educators, and caregivers in applying proven behavioral strategies to promote meaningful progress. Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Lead and supervise behavior intervention programs across various settings, including home-based, school, and clinical environments. Perform functional behavior assessments (FBA) to determine the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and design effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust strategies accordingly. Provide clinical supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. Collaborate closely with families, educators, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and comprehensive care. Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. Participate in intake assessments for new clients, including medical terminology review and development of individualized treatment goals aligned with client needs. Skills Extensive experience working with children with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and functional assessment methods. Proven ability to conduct behavioral health evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA). Excellent data collection skills combined with proficiency in analyzing behavioral data to inform treatment decisions. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance. Experience working in diverse settings such as schools, homes, or clinics—particularly with children requiring specialized behavioral health support. Ability to provide clear client communication, explain treatment plans effectively, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in patient care and ongoing professional development through clinical supervision or related training.
