Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact as a School Psychologist working with K-12 students in a thriving educational environment. This contract role offers you the opportunity to engage with a diverse caseload, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. Your expertise will play a key part in fostering an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere throughout the district.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid Georgia School Psychologist license required Previous experience working in K-12 settings is preferred Strong understanding of special education, psychoeducational assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to varying needs across elementary, middle, and high school populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, observations, and evaluations for students referred for academic and behavioral concerns Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies Serve as a resource for IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and placement recommendations Provide crisis intervention and support as needed Deliver consultation regarding behavioral management and mental health supports Uphold confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Position Details:
