This is a full-time, on-site position designed for professionals passionate about making a difference in students' lives. Travel candidates are welcomed and encouraged to bring their expertise! In this role, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow mental health professionals to ensure each student's academic, social, and emotional needs are met. Leveraging your specialized knowledge in child and adolescent development, you'll foster supportive, inclusive learning settings where every child has the tools to thrive.
Qualifications and Preferred Background:
Valid licensure as a School Psychologist is required Recent experience working in a school-based setting (elementary, middle, or high school) Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies for pediatric populations Adept at collaborating with interdisciplinary school teams, students, and guardians Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and functional behavioral assessments Develop and support behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions Participate actively in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and IEP teams Provide individual and group counseling for students as needed Assist teachers and staff in implementing strategies for student growth and development Support crisis intervention efforts and develop prevention programs
