Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting students' success with a full-time contract opportunity for a Special Education Teacher specializing in middle school education. This position focuses on providing expert instruction and individualized services to students with diverse learning needs. With an emphasis on collaboration and growth, you'll join a dedicated educational environment preparing for the upcoming school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid LBS1 Credentials required Previous experience in a middle school or similar educational setting preferred Knowledge of implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including
School Psychologists Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a middle school caseload, delivering tailored instruction to students with special education needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate with school psychologists and other support staff to ensure holistic student support Partner with families to provide regular updates and involve them in the educational process Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education services Participate in professional development and engage with the Clinical Advisory Team for ongoing growth
