This full-time, contract opportunity begins in August and involves supporting two elementary schools, offering variety and the chance to connect with diverse student populations. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support strategies. Youll play a critical role in fostering an inclusive and positive school climate, helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications and Experience:

PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist endorsement required Active and current Illinois licensure as a School Psychologist Experience supporting elementary-aged students is highly desirable Strong skills in psychological evaluation, intervention, and consultation Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Split your time between two elementary schools, ensuring each site receives dedicated support Deliver assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and response to intervention (RTI) processes Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on best practices for supporting students emotional and behavioral health Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives This position offers a rewarding chance to be part of a team that values your expertise, supports your professional growth, and recognizes the positive difference school psychologists make every day.
