Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Arkansas City, KS. This full-time School Psychologist position involves providing services across three schools, serving a broad K-12 student population. You'll have the chance to work collaboratively with faculty and families to help students reach their full academic and social potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current license or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working within a K-12 school setting strongly preferred Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational climate

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across three school sites Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom accommodations and behavioral interventions Offer direct counseling and crisis intervention when needed Maintain compliant and timely documentation according to district and regulatory guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
