Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Seeking a dynamic professional passionate about supporting students' academic and emotional success! A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to serve K-12 students across three locations in a vibrant and collaborative educational community near Oxford, KS. This contract role involves working with a diverse student population to help foster growth, resilience, and a positive school experience.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (must meet state requirements) Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Ability to travel between three school locations efficiently Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families Flexible and adaptable approach in a dynamic environment
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation Develop and implement intervention strategies to address students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create supportive educational plans Participate in IEP meetings, provide crisis intervention, and offer counseling services as needed Facilitate positive behavioral support initiatives and assist in designing classroom interventions Maintain detailed and confidential student records as required by school policy and state regulations This role provides the chance to have a meaningful impact across multiple campuses, contributing your expertise in assessment, consultation, and intervention.
