Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience in K-12 school settings, providing psychological assessments and interventions. Strong understanding of Special Education processes and compliance. Comfort with delivering services in-person and virtually (open to hybrid/voco options). Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining student confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need. Provide individual and group counseling to help students manage emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Advise teachers and staff on classroom interventions and strategies that support student success. Maintain thorough records, prepare reports, and ensure documentation complies with all relevant policies. Stay current with best practices, legislation, and research impacting school psychology.
