This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact from August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, working up to 15 hours each week across Monday to Friday. You'll play a crucial role in student growth by providing essential mental health and educational support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Hold a valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration) Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and supporting IEP teams Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families Flexibility and adaptability to serve at the designated school site(s) as determined by the district Open to candidates who are onsite School Social Workers with appropriate licensure
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for special education services Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic and emotional needs Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consult with educators and families on strategies to maximize student success Support crisis intervention and provide direct counseling as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district and state guidelines Enjoy the professional rewards of making a difference within a supportive school community, where your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for students.
