  • $84 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Referral program Qualifications Conflict de-escalation De-escalation support in education Classroom behavior modification Practicing as a school psychologist Crisis intervention plan implementation Full Job Description The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Certified CPI Trainer to deliver Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (CPI) training for school staff in Richfield, MN during the 2026-2027 school year.
This PRN (as-needed) opportunity supports a local school district and is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about creating safe, supportive learning environments and equipping educators with effective crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Active School Psychologist license/credential valid in Minnesota Graduate degree (Ed.

S. or higher) from a NASP-approved or equivalent program PELSB Previous experience working in K-12 schools, educational settings, or behavioral health environments preferred Knowledge of crisis prevention, de-escalation techniques, and behavior intervention strategies
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deliver CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training to school staff through both initial and refresher courses Teach evidence-based crisis prevention, de-escalation, and behavior management techniques Equip staff with strategies to effectively respond to and reduce escalating risk behaviors Facilitate hands-on learning in verbal intervention and nonrestrictive crisis response methods Train staff on appropriate crisis intervention practices, including restrictive interventions as a last resort Promote safer school environments by supporting best practices that reduce the need for restraint and seclusion Foster staff confidence in managing challenging behaviors and responding to crisis situations effectively
