Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to a vibrant educational environment. This opportunity is a contract-based position, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) within the greater Saint Peters, MO area, with on-site responsibilities. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with a dedicated team, contribute to important Child Find initiatives, and conduct special education evaluations that make a real difference in students' lives.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Missouri Department of Education (DOE) school psychologist certification Experience supporting K-12 populations Strong background in special education assessments and Child Find activities Ability to manage an active caseload, averaging 8-10 cases at a time with up to 32 evaluations per year for full-time staff Skilled at working across one or two schools, adapting to the needs of diverse student groups Flexible mindset—full-time preferred, but part-time or shorter-term assignments can be accommodated Prepared to complete required district credentialing, including fingerprinting and technology compliance
What You'll Do:
Provide comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students in K-12 settings Support eligibility determinations for special education services Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design student-centered interventions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support individualized education plans Ensure all documentation and evaluations meet state and district requirements Help foster a positive, inclusive school climate Experience a role where your skills are appreciated and where your assessments and recommendations truly matter.
