Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your expertise as a school psychologist has a profound impact on students' lives. This full-time contract role, working 37.5 hours per week, focuses on supporting students in grades 7 through 12. You'll be essential in providing vital assessments, counseling, and intervention services, collaborating with educators and families to foster student success.
Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Demonstrated experience in educational or school-based settings Proficient in conducting psychoeducational testing, evaluations, and assessments Strong knowledge of best practices for adolescent development and mental health Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Familiarity with current IEP/504 processes and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychoeducational testing, evaluations, and assessments for students grades 7-12 Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop individualized plans of support Provide direct counseling and intervention services to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Support multidisciplinary teams during review processes and contribute to eligibility meetings Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and timely submission of reports Participate in professional development and contribute insights to school-wide initiatives You'll find this role rewarding as you take an active part in shaping a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for students.
