Desired Qualifications:

Valid NM PED Level II or III School Psychologist certification required Demonstrated experience working in a K-12 educational setting Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct psychological services including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education and behavioral intervention plans Conduct evaluations to support special education eligibility and services Contribute to the development of strategies addressing academic, social, and emotional needs Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality in all student matters Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and multi-disciplinary team discussions
