9661460-89460 Job Description A dedicated, student-centered School Psychologist is needed for a contract assignment supporting students near Gardnerville, NV. In this impactful role, you will collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to promote academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth among students. Youll be an essential part of the team, ensuring every learner has access to the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities include:

Completing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and delivering clear interpretations of results Actively participating in special education and eligibility processes, adhering to federal and Nevada guidelines Developing, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional interventions Delivering individual or small-group counseling to students in need Consulting with teachers, staff, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and developmental concerns Guiding the development and oversight of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Contributing to Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) as required Providing crisis support and timely student assistance Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in line with professional standards Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment Preferred qualifications: Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or closely related area from an accredited institution Current or eligible Nevada licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Thorough understanding of psychoeducational assessments, special education policies, and evidence-based behavioral approaches Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Collaborative spirit and experience working within multidisciplinary education teams Previous experience working with youth in school settings is highly valued If youre passionate about supporting students wellbeing and learning outcomes, this school-based opportunity could be the perfect fit.
