Responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret findings to inform educational planning Complete functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Collaborate in IEP meetings and support the creation and implementation of individualized education plans Offer guidance and consultation to teachers and staff on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports Design and help implement evidence-based strategies within general and special education classrooms Engage in in-class monitoring and develop personalized interventions to meet unique student needs Participate in crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, supportive school climate Monitor and track student progress using data-driven practices for ongoing improvement Desired qualifications: Master's degree in School Psychology Current New York School Psychologist Certification Previous experience within K-12 school settings preferred Exceptional abilities in assessment, communication, and collaboration This contract position places you at the heart of a school community where your specialized skills will enable students to reach their full potential.
