Job Description
Children's Neuropsychological Services, PLLC is a well-established, thriving and still growing pediatric neuropsychology practice in the Albany, New York area. We are seeking a licensed psychologist to provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Although our practice is well known for comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, we are expanding our clinical services and are seeking a psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary practice. Areas of clinical practice may include: Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) Parent consultation and parent behavior management training Executive functioning intervention Psychoeducational groups and parent education Opportunities to help develop additional evidence-based programs, including services for selective mutism The ideal candidate will: Be licensed (or license eligible) as a psychologist in New York. Have experience providing evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families. Have training in CBT and behavioral interventions. Enjoy collaborating with neuropsychologists and integrating assessment findings into treatment planning. Be interested in helping build and expand innovative clinical programs. Experience with CBIT, SPACE, exposure-based treatment, or selective mutism is welcomed but not required. Training and mentorship are available for clinicians with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice. We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming part of a collaborative practice and contributing to the continued growth of our clinical services.
