School Psychologist - Cambridge, OH

Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students across two local schools in a full-time, contract position located near Cambridge, OH. This rewarding role involves working in person with students, faculty, and families, providing essential psychological services and fostering a supportive learning environment. Your expertise will be key in evaluating student needs, collaborating with educators and parents, and developing strategies that promote academic, social, and emotional growth. Serving both Wolf Creek Local and Belpre schools, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference across multiple educational communities.
Key Qualifications:
Current School Psychologist certification/license Experience working with K-12 student populations Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Comfort with traveling between two local school sites Effective communication and collaboration abilities Passion for supporting student well-being and success In-person availability preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, observations, and interventions for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed Participate in student support teams and multidisciplinary meetings Monitor and document progress and adjust strategies as appropriate Support positive school climates and promote mental health awareness This full-time contract opportunity allows you to use your knowledge and compassion to empower students while enjoying a dynamic, school-based environment.
