Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a school psychologist makes a meaningful impact for 4th and 5th grade students. This long-term, in-person opportunity begins November 18 and extends through March 1, allowing you to contribute to student success over the course of several critical months. You'll work closely with elementary students and dedicated educators, focusing on both routine and individualized support. A primary responsibility will be completing Reevaluations (RETRs) and Initial Evaluations (IETRs) within this period, ensuring compliance and tailored interventions for each student's unique needs. You'll be able to focus on what you do best—providing support, fostering student well-being, and collaborating with a passionate team—while working a consistent daily schedule from 7:40 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Active School Psychologist certification/license (state requirements must be met) Prior experience working with elementary-aged students, especially grades 4 and 5 Strong familiarity with RETRs and IETRs processes and compliance documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Ability to maintain confidentiality and cultivate a supportive, inclusive environment Key responsibilities include: Conducting and reporting on RETRs and IETRs during the assignment window Delivering comprehensive psychological services and interventions Collaborating with teachers and support staff to develop and implement student plans Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings Providing consultative support for staff and families as needed Take this chance to play a vital role in the academic and emotional growth of young learners in an engaging, supportive school setting.
