Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in a long-term, in-person contract role running from November 18 to March 1. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact, working closely with 4th and 5th grade students. Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule, with hours from 7:40am to 3:10pm, all while contributing meaningfully to a vibrant school community.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Ohio Strong background in educational psychology, including experience with elementary school-aged children Familiarity with special education processes, including RETRs and IETRs Excellent assessment, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within specified timelines
Responsibilities:
Provide in-person psychological services to 4th and 5th grade students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth Complete all required Re-Evaluation Team Reports (RETRs) and Initial Evaluation Team Reports (IETRs) during the assignment period Administer assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility determination meetings Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality in all services Contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings and school improvement initiatives This contract role is perfectly suited for professionals seeking to advance their experience in a supportive elementary environment, focusing on meaningful student outcomes.
