Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a role where your expertise as a School Psychologist makes a meaningful difference every day. This full-time contract position spans from ASAP through the end of May and is designed for professionals eager to have a hand in fostering students' social, emotional, and academic growth. While based on site near Lindale, TX, there's flexibility for a hybrid schedule for candidates with the right experience. Expect a dynamic workday supporting multiple buildings, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
Certified School Psychologist with relevant credentials for practice Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent development Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and reporting for academic and behavioral concerns Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, staff, and parents Able to adapt to supporting several buildings and manage varying caseloads efficiently Commitment to ethical practice and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, using a variety of tools Develop, recommend, and help implement intervention strategies to enhance student performance and well-being Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to support the unique needs of each student Consult with families and team members, explaining assessment results and recommendations Support and participate in the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations Join a professional, supportive environment where your talents will have a lasting impact on the school community.
