Job Description

School Psychologist | Yorktown, VA | Full-Time Contract Opportunity | 2026-2027 School Year A school district in the Yorktown area is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time contract opportunity during the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to support students across multiple school settings while working with a collaborative special education team.

Location:

Yorktown, VA 23692

Schedule:

Full-Time Monday-Friday 37.5

Hours Per Week Contract Dates:

August 2026 - June 2027

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations Complete psychological assessments and reports Support Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Provide counseling services as needed Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings

Qualifications:

Active Virginia School Psychologist license/certification Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
