Job Description

Make a difference supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in an engaging contract opportunity beginning August 2026. Conveniently located near Cheney, WA, this role allows you to contribute your expertise in a dynamic school environment while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule. This contract assignment runs from August 20, 2026, to June 16, 2026, with a 7-hour workday (start and end times vary by building, typically between 7:20 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.). You'll primarily work within elementary school settings, with site assignments and total caseload determined prior to your start.

Key Qualifications:

Active Washington State ESA School Psychologist Certificate Valid Washington State Driver License, with ability to maintain throughout assignment Background in elementary school psychology and child assessment preferred Experience conducting assessments, evaluations, FBAs, BIPs, and support plans Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for reporting and teamwork

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations for elementary-level students Provide counseling services as needed Develop and implement FBAs, BIPs, and behavioral support plans Share findings and work closely with the special education team Travel between assigned elementary sites as needed
