The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes, following the Radiation Oncologist's prescription.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and implement treatment plans, perform patient simulations, prepare immobilization devices, conduct equipment quality assurance, assist in clinical training, provide patient care and education, monitor treatment progress, and ensure timely treatment scheduling.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires ARRT certification, applicable radiology license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates hold a bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy. Essential skills include clinical processes, patient care, communication, decision-making, empathy, problem-solving, flexibility, and collaboration.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to see, read, and operate complex equipment, lift and move patients and supplies, stand for extended periods, and, if applicable, drive.
