Key Qualifications:
Current registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T). Experience in administering radiation therapy to oncology patients. Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Proficiency with linear accelerators and treatment planning systems. Effective communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate with broader care teams. Attention to detail and commitment to precise treatment delivery. Ability to adapt to changing work environments and maintain a professional demeanor.

Primary Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment to deliver prescribed doses. Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and nurses to review patient treatment plans and verify treatment parameters. Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, addressing questions and providing reassurance. Monitor patient responses and observe for any reactions or complications, reporting to appropriate clinical staff. Maintain accurate documentation, including dosage, equipment settings, and daily treatment records. Uphold strict safety standards for patients, staff, and self, ensuring all procedures follow facility and regulatory guidelines.
