Full-time Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program with current certification Valid Washington State license in Radiation Therapy In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Proficient in operating CT scanners and other relevant medical imaging equipment Adept at collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong communication abilities for patient education and interdepartmental coordination Detail-oriented with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver prescribed radiation treatments with a focus on patient safety and comfort Partner with oncologists and clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans Accurately document treatments, monitor patient reactions, and adjust as needed Provide clear explanations about therapy processes and answer patient questions empathetically Ensure strict compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines regarding radiation exposure Assist with quality assurance checks and maintain treatment equipment Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, reflecting your valuable skills and experience.
