As a key member of the oncology care team, you will leverage your expertise in medical imaging and therapy techniques while ensuring safety and comfort for each patient. Full-time, in-person position
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments according to established protocols and physician prescriptions Collaborate closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals on individualized patient treatment plans Prepare and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient records, treatment progress, and any adverse effects Operate advanced medical imaging equipment—including CT scanners—to assist with treatment planning Educate patients and families about the steps and expectations of radiation therapy, responding to any questions or concerns Carefully monitor patients for side effects or complications during therapy sessions Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations regarding radiation exposure Participate in equipment maintenance and quality assurance procedures
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program Washington State license in Radiation Therapy required In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Proven experience with radiation therapy techniques and relevant technology Proficient in the use of medical imaging systems, especially CT Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in dynamic clinical settings This role offers a highly competitive salary at $45.00-$60.00 per hour, with outstanding benefits including 100% paid medical insurance for employees, front-loaded vacation and sick time, 10 paid holidays, 401(k) matching, dental and vision coverage, and life insurance.
