Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine, CT Technology, and Nuclear Medicine Technology. This contract role requires a clinical care provider able to deliver patient-centered, holistic care and contribute to high-quality outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
On call, as needed, with a 45-minute response time. Every other weekend (EOW) coverage.
Variable weekday shifts:
6:30 am-3:00 pm, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, or 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
Key Qualifications:
Professional experience in Nuclear Medicine and CT imaging. Certification and licensure relevant to Nuclear Medicine Tech roles. Comprehensive understanding of medication dosing and coordination with pharmacies. Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills. Comfortable working independently and navigating variable shift demands. Capability to respond to calls and arrive onsite within 45 minutes as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality imaging and nuclear medicine services in accordance with clinical best practices. Manage on-call responsibilities, including coordinating dose ordering with pharmacies and communicating wait times to providers and patients. Deliver clinical care that aligns with patients' personal and holistic goals. Document, monitor, and evaluate patient status and progress throughout the care process. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes, seeking additional resources for complex situations. Advocate for patients and families, ensuring a high standard of care and satisfaction. This dynamic role rewards expertise in both direct clinical care and advanced imaging techniques.
