Job Description

Overview
JOB SUMMARY
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Assist Radiologist in the performance of localization and biopsy procedures as required. Performs high-quality radiographic examinations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
An individual who has completed a program in radiological technology. Must also meet the experience and educational requirement of the FDA (MQSA) to perform Mammography procedures.
Experience:
One-year acute hospital experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to perform mammography/diagnostic radiology exams. Must have good communication skills.
License/Certifications:
An individual who has met requirements for mammography licensing by CRT and ARRT, and holds and maintains (via required continuing education credits) current certifications from the ARRT, CRT, and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR card. California fluoroscopy permit preferred.
Equipment:
Personal computer, RIS, HIS, PACS, mobile and stationary radiologic equipment, mammography units.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$42.00 - $61.96 The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
