Full-Time Position:

40 hours/week Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in a related field Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent BLS certification from the American Heart Association ARRT-N or CNMT certification Knowledge/experience with: Nuclear Medicine CT PET Key Responsibilities The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures while providing safe, professional, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Review consultation requests and identify special instructions from referring physicians Consult with radiologists as necessary Verify patient identification and explain examination procedures to patients and families Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established protocols Demonstrate proficiency with all Nuclear Medicine equipment Prepare, calibrate, document, and administer radiopharmaceuticals through injection, ingestion, and inhalation Perform in vivo and in vitro diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure appropriate positioning Maintain accurate daily activity logs and examination documentation Perform daily quality assurance testing and visual safety inspections Identify equipment issues and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor Maintain appropriate inventory and order Nuclear Medicine supplies Provide radiation protection for patients, staff, and yourself Operate radiation detection equipment according to safety standards Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate emergency procedures Administer first aid or CPR when necessary Coordinate add-on examinations with other departments whenever possible Verify correct exam orders and supply charges Support overall departmental workflow and patient access Additional Requirements Must complete Point-of-Care Testing training as part of General Orientation Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong patient-care and communication skills required Ability to follow radiation-safety protocols and departmental procedures VB_

DH Pay:

$36.57 - $56.68 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
