Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time X-Ray Technician to join our orthopedic practice. The ideal candidate will perform X-rays, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, with experience working in hospital or clinical settings. The technician will ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to apply their radiology expertise in a specialized orthopedic environment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, with precision and care. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety. Assist physicians with quality control of images captured. Follow all safety protocols related to radiation exposure and medical imaging standards. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques relevant to orthopedic care. Current and valid ARRT certification (R.T.(R)) or equivalent. State radiologic technologist license Qualifications Certification as an X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist with valid licensure. Experience with X-ray preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare team members. Knowledge of medical imaging standards and safety protocols related to radiation exposure. This role is ideal for a skilled radiology professional eager to contribute their expertise within a dynamic orthopedic practice environment while expanding their clinical experience across diverse imaging modalities.
